What if you didn't have to wait for fear to disappear before you could start living again?
For me, anxiety began in childhood. But after a terrifying panic attack during a trip to Bali, fear began to take over my everyday life. Traffic lights, freeways, travelling away from home and even walking to the letterbox became overwhelming. Home felt like the only safe place, and my world grew smaller.
In A Life Bigger Than Fear, I share my personal journey through panic attacks, agoraphobia, grief and setbacks — and the lessons I am learning as I reclaim my freedom, one small step at a time.
Written with warmth, honesty and understanding, this book explores the fear of having another panic attack, the urge to escape uncomfortable situations, and the possibility of responding to anxiety in a different way. I share the gentle practices that have helped me, including taking manageable steps, allowing anxious feelings without fighting them, finding calm during difficult times and creating a personal Freedom Plan.
This is not a promise of an instant cure or a story about becoming completely fearless. It is a personal account of learning to live more fully, even when anxiety comes along for the ride.
If panic or agoraphobia has made your world feel smaller, this book is a reminder that your life can hold more than fear.
Your world deserves to be bigger than your fear.
